The Fellowship Committee seeks an Aotearoa New Zealand representative

Description

An opportunity has arisen for an Aotearoa New Zealand based member to become a member of the Fellowship Committee.   

The Fellowship Committee is a peak Board Committee that works closely with all College bodies to support the enhancement of services to members and identify ways to increase the value and relevance of membership to fellows and trainees. 

The successful candidate will work collegiately with other members to make recommendations to the Board on important issues that will impact all members of the College. Some of the areas that the Fellowship Committee is responsible for are: 

  • overseeing the development of a suite of member services;  
  • developing processes to support the pastoral care needs of members;  
  • communicating with members including engagement surveys to assess the engagement of Members and their satisfaction with College services;
  • ·overseeing the work of the College Library; 
  • ·overseeing the arrangements for the Annual College Congress and, at the direction of the Board, any other similar College wide events or programs not currently managed by another College body; and
  • making recommendations to the Board in relation to the awarding of Honorary Fellowships, other than recommendations made by Divisions, Faculties or Chapters. 

Members are required to attend 1 face-to-face meeting, and 3 video conferences a year. 

Meeting time and dates for the remainder of 2024 are:

  • 4:30-6:30pm, Thursday 13 June 2024 AEST (videoconference)
  • 4:30-6:30pm, Thursday 22 August 2024 AEST (videoconference)
  • 4:30-6:30pm, Thursday 14 November 2024 AEST (videoconference)

Members are appointed to the Committee for a 3-year term with the option to renew for an additional term.
